About Tee
I trained as a yoga teacher in 2016, following my initial training with another, higher course later that year. The following year I took a course in teaching Yin Yoga, followed by meditation teacher training. These courses not only trained me in working with students but helped me to develop as a person and find my own strengths. I found my strength to be in more meditative, slower modalities such as Yin Yoga and I continue to teach since then. Feel free to try one of my classes and find out how Yin can help you.

The principles of Yin Yoga are based on Chinese medicine and opening energetic channels in the body. From a purely physical/western perspective, the postures work on the fascia of the human body. The poses are mostly floor-based and held for a longer time than traditional Indian yoga poses. It's very much a relaxing process, even if holding the positions can pose somewhat of a challenge for beginners. It is an excellent complement to dynamic exercise such as weightlifting, calisthenics, etc.
