About Shomo
I am a storyteller. There might be different faces to it, but the soul of it is the ability to tell narratives that make the listener hooked as to what happens next. I have done copywriting, content creation, content development, creative direction in marketing, education, advertising and radio for the last 12 years and counting. And every moment of it has involved telling stories and teaching people how to tell good stories.

Storytelling might be amazing, but it sure isn't easy. If you think storytelling is just about writing books or movies, you couldn't be further from the truth. In today's world, creating a new world is at the heart of everything from branding strategy to an entrepreneurial venture, startup ideas, business, marketing, management and literally anything and everything that involves people.
There are courses out there that teach creative writing or talk about the craft of a script,but I feel that a lot of it ignores the soul of it all - storytelling. I teach about where stories from. We talk about how storytelling became an instinct in human evolution to survive, to create a community that interacts and talks. I delve into the evolution of storytelling and discuss its structure. I then take it to the craft of writing and how content, copy and context plays there part. I then talk about how storytelling playssuch a big role in anything the student wans to achieve and aspire for.
