About Dennis
Standing in the wings before a national tour opening night remains a vivid memory from my 13 years in the industry. Training initially in classical music provided the structure, while my transition into contemporary performance defined my real-world versatility. Now I help gigging singers and hobbyists understand their internal mechanics.
Students rely on me to bridge the gap between technical rigor and artistic freedom. My studio welcomes auditionees seeking precision alongside those finding their unique sound. Trusting your voice requires solid technique, and I provide exactly that.

Admitting that I still get nervous before a stage performance keeps me grounded as an instructor. I start every first session with a diagnostic vocal assessment to chart your specific trajectory.
We integrate sight singing, pitch control, and tone work into every 60 minute block. Breath support remains our foundational focus to ensure health. My Berklee College of Music background informs how I address head and chest voice mechanics. Mixing freely and belting safely require specific anatomical adjustments that I break down clearly.
