About Nathan
Algebra happens to be the most common hurdle I see, yet it remains fundamentally logical once you strip away the intimidation factor. I work with students who need clarity in linear algebra, statistics and probability, or competition math prep. Whether it is SAT/ACT math prep or just geometry, I focus on building a solid foundation.
My 13 years in civil engineering from Massey University give me a unique perspective on why these numbers matter in the real world. I have taught many students over the years, and I usually find that the trouble lies in missing one specific concept.

Usually, the most effective approach starts right before the first lecture even begins. Getting a baseline assessment through a diagnostic test for every student allows us to pinpoint exactly where the gaps are located.
We will tackle the curriculum at a steady, rigorous pace. It is about consistency. My degree in B.E. Civil ensures that the math is grounded in reality rather than abstract formulas.
