About Jace
I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice. I offer personalized singing lessons for students of all levels—whether you're in school, college, or a professional setting. My teaching covers a wide range of styles including classical, pop, movie soundtracks, and folk. I believe every voice is unique and deserves to be nurtured with care and attention. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and always tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I focus on safe vocal techniques that promote long-term voice health and strength. Ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory are woven into lessons to build well-rounded musicianship. I help students explore their own sound and grow confident in their vocal abilities. Whether you're preparing for a performance or simply singing for joy, I’ll support you every step of the way. We’ll work on tone, breath control, and emotional expression in a relaxed and motivating space. I also create structured plans that help track progress while keeping the experience fun. My approach blends technique with creativity, making room for each student to shine. Let’s begin your musical journey together in a positive, inspiring environment where your voice can truly thrive.

My singing methodology for both The Soloist in Training and The Church Ensemble Player centers on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and sustainable voice care. I believe a healthy voice begins with a calm mind and a balanced body. Each lesson starts with gentle warm-ups that promote breath connection, release tension, and awaken vocal resonance. We focus on healthy vocal placement that supports range, clarity, and tone without strain.
Hydration is a key part of vocal health. I guide students to develop simple hydration habits that support vocal flexibility and endurance. Alongside vocal training, I incorporate mindfulness practices such as guided breathwork, light body stretches, and mental grounding to ease performance anxiety and increase focus. Mindfulness timers and breathwork apps help students develop inner calm and build a strong pre-performance routine.
Vocal tracking tools are also recommended to monitor progress and build self-awareness. Both personas benefit from structured practice with joy at the center—whether preparing a solo piece or blending harmonies in a group. My goal is to help students sing with freedom, confidence, and emotional depth. Together, we nurture not just the voice, but the whole singer.
