Teaching Approach & Techniques I personally believe that strong fundamentals are the root of success. My teaching approach focuses on ensuring students fully understand basic concepts before progressing to advanced problem-solving and exam techniques. As an engineer, I emphasize logical thinking, structured problem-solving, and real-world applications to help students better understand Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. Lessons are conducted step-by-step, followed by guided practice and independent exercises. I prefer one-to-one tutoring, as it allows lessons to be fully personalized according to each student’s pace, strengths, and weaknesses. For SPM students, I focus on exam strategies, common question patterns, and time management. Lesson Structure & Duration A typical lesson lasts 1 to 1.5 hours. Each session includes concept explanation, practice questions, correction of mistakes, and revision. Homework or short assessments may be given to reinforce learning and track progress. Qualifications & Experience I am a qualified engineer with 7 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for Form 1 to Form 5 and SPM. My technical background allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and systematically. Target Students My lessons are suitable for Form 1–Form 5 students, including SPM candidates, ranging from those who need to strengthen their basics to students aiming for excellent results.
