About Alyssa
I am a highly qualified and passionate educator. I have been teaching for 15 years and love figuring out how to get all students motivated and engaged in their learning. For the past ten years I have been the Advanced Learning Opportunities teacher (gifted education) for kindergarten through fifth grade students.

I will make sure your child is engaged and focused during our session. We will review concepts from previous lessons to make sure the content we are learning together is mastered. We will practice skills and occasionally play games to increase engagement. I work with kindergarten through eighth grade in math. Kindergarten through fifth grade in reading and writing.
