About Marquis
Working with late starters is a core part of my practice because I was one myself. I find that my degree from Imperial College London and my PGCE qualification offer a solid foundation for teaching, though I admit that precision is a constant struggle to balance against keeping a student from checking out. My approach combines classic problem-solving strategies with some unusual Vedic maths techniques to keep things moving.
Helping pupils get through exam preparation requires a very steady hand. Coordinate geometry and calculus are simply parts of a larger puzzle that we solve together. I am highly effective at turning complex logic into something manageable for any student.

getting students to focus often involves a bit of trial error before we hit the right rhythm. sometimes I find the most quiet students have the loudest questions if given the right space.
Because I have 10 years of experience, I know that maths should feel like a game of logic rather than a chore. My lessons incorporate a 9.0 rating standard for clarity and methodical pacing. We tackle tricky problems until the underlying patterns become clear. Expect a session that focuses on steady progress rather than rushing towards a finish line.
