About Sharif
I am currently an official tutor at Vanier College (Canada). With so many years of computer software design and programming under my belt, I have never had a dissatisfied student. Teaching is an art. Some teachers are good at relaying information - some are not. I can say that I have been told numerous times that I am a very skilled teacher. This is something that every student should be concerned about. Many teachers have excellent command of the subject matter, but have trouble relaying the information to others. This will not be a concern for you with me. With over 20+ years of work in the industry in Canada I can, not only help you with your courses, but I can also provide you with sound advice on the current state of the industry and tips and tricks to help you land your first job in the field. This is something that most academics lack.

I have the ability to simplify complex ideas into simple, bite-size chunks for my students to understand. I am very patient and I work at the speed of my students. I start with a quick assessment of the student needs. After that, I move to explain the theory behind the concept that I am explaining. To end with, I always show practical examples using the required IDE and language to illustrate the theory illustrated. The practical part is usually 60% of the lesson and is done with the student's involvement. I provide my student exercises for the particular topic we are covering. These exercises are suitable for their skill level and help solidify their understanding of the subject matter. Computer Science \ programming is all about practice and my student gets enough of that.

To simplify complicated problems is one of his main characteristics.
I also found him a very patient, attentive and knowledgeable teacher who never stops encouraging his students.
He almost always tries to go over the material he teaches to the point where he makes sure that his students understand those concepts completely.I am a student in a Computer Science college program and Sharif is currently giving me after school lessons. I have greatly benefitted from his teachings. Sharif is very enthusiastic about my progression, he has truly invested himself in this teacher - student relationship and it is very encouraging for a beginner like me.
Sharif will go the extra mile to make sure you understand the concepts thoroughly. He has decades of experience in the field and knows how to share this wealth of knowledge in an engaging way. He has a hands-on approach and you will learn by doing lots of practice examples. He knows how to walk you through complex problems and he will show you how to break them down and tackle them effectively.
I highly recommend Sharif as a teacher.
