About Nancy
Teaching guitar actually happened because open mic regulars kept asking how I did what I did. It is strange to realize that being a working musician for 6 years leads directly to this spot. I spent those years playing acoustic sets in small venues across the American South and Southwest. My 13 years of total experience shaped how I explain the protest song tradition from Dylan to Guthrie.
I currently work with teens, hobbyists, adults, and working professionals who want to play the right way. Having 372 students means I have seen every common roadblock when it comes to learning the instrument. My approach is pretty chill because I know exactly how much pressure is required to get a clean sound. Most of the time, the best way to handle a student is to keep the vibe relaxed and the focus on the music itself.

These sessions are designed for teens, hobbyists, and working professionals who want real results. You will learn the mechanics of chord transitions and the history of the acoustic canon in a way that just makes sense.
