About Harjeet
I am DBS enhanced certified, and currently work full time as a GCSE and A-level teacher. Being a working teaching I have a rich understanding and resources of the current syllabubs for GCSE & A-level Computer Science and Physics. I am aware of the current stresses young people face and enjoy working with them to motivate them to reach their full potential. I hold a physics degree from UCL, and a PGCE in Physics from KCL. Teaching a passion of mine and I hope to have positive influences on students academically as well as their development as a young people.
Having graduated from UCL with a degree in Physics, I embarked on a fulfilling journey in the tech industry as a software engineer for four years. During this time, I worked on diverse projects ranging from website development on government projects and data engineering for private machine learning clients. However, it was my passion for teaching that truly flourished when I began conducting after-school programming workshops. This led me to pursue a PGCE in teaching, and for the past four years, I've dedicated myself to teaching young minds in London schools. I find particular fulfilment in guiding students through the challenging period of exams, motivating them to realise their full potential.
Additionally, I've had the privilege of teaching short courses for Coding Black Females, empowering adult women to enter the world of programming and embark on new career paths. I firmly believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit, and as such, I aspire to serve as a mentor and coach to learners, guiding them along their journeys and helping them achieve their aspirations.

As a UCL Physics graduate with a degree in Physics and with over four years of experience in the tech industry, coupled with another four years as a Computer Science and Physics teacher in London schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to tutoring. I enjoy getting to know my learners' needs, figuring out together the best ways for them to achieve their goals, and supporting them.
My expertise lies in teaching :
-Physics GCSE, Alevel for all exam boards.
-Computer Science GCSE, Alevel for all exam boards.
-Teaching python basics, web development, and data science.
