About Shannon
"Teaching French for 13 years means I have seen almost every roadblock a student can hit. It is funny because the most difficult grammar points usually yield to simple, logical explanations.
After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music, I realized how much structure in music mirrors the patterns found in languages. My 457 students often struggle with verb conjugation or basic writing skills until we break the flow down into manageable chunks.
