About Delilah
I am a passionate Piano tutor dedicated to helping students unlock their musical potential and build strong piano skills. I enjoy working with learners of all ages and levels, guiding them patiently and motivating them to achieve steady progress. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, structured, and enjoyable so students feel inspired to continue learning.
My teaching style is simple, supportive, and student-focused. I break down complex musical concepts into easy steps, ensuring students fully understand before moving forward. I emphasise proper technique, rhythm control, and musical expression while also encouraging creativity and confidence in every student.
I am committed to helping students achieve their musical dreams, whether it is performing on stage, passing exams, or playing for personal enjoyment. My piano lessons are designed to help students of all levels develop solid technical skills and a deep understanding of music. I teach beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, focusing on hand posture, finger independence, coordination, rhythm, scales, chords, arpeggios, sight reading, and music theory. Each lesson is carefully structured to ensure smooth progress and clear understanding of every concept.
Every lesson is tailored according to the student’s age, ability, and personal goals. Whether you are preparing for graded piano examinations, school performances, auditions, competitions, or simply learning for enjoyment, I provide step-by-step instruction with practical exercises and song-based learning. Regular feedback and guided practice help students improve accuracy, timing, and musical expression consistently.
I believe piano learning becomes truly effective when students enjoy the process and stay consistent with practice. My lessons include ear training, improvisation, classical and modern repertoire, and performance techniques. I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to learn, make progress, and develop a lifelong connection with music.
