About Ryan
I’m currently a senior at a STEM-focused high school and will be studying engineering at Georgia Tech. Most of my experience comes from actually working on projects, not just sitting in class. I co-founded an environmental nonprofit where I helped lead restoration work across 15+ acres, organized volunteer efforts, and also interned in composting systems that diverted over 40,000 pounds of food waste into black soldier fly composting farms.
I’ve also competed in engineering and data analysis competitions, placing at the state level. More importantly, though, I’ve spent time tutoring and mentoring other students, which is exactly where I learned how to explain things in a way that actually clicks, especially when something hasn’t made sense before.
I’m not trying to overwhelm you or just throw information at you. I focus on helping students understand what’s going on, get more comfortable with the material, and build confidence over time.

I try to make tutoring feel less stressful and more actually useful. Instead of just memorizing stuff for a test, I help students break things down in a way that makes sense and sticks. Since I’ve worked a lot with STEM, projects, and problem solving, I like using real examples when I teach. My goal is to help students feel more confident, improve over time, and stop feeling completely lost when school gets hard.
