Intensive One-to-One Tuition: English & Geography (Junior & Leaving Cert) I offer focused, individual tuition throughout the academic year to strengthen weak areas, build confidence, and maximise results ahead of the state exams. Leaving Cert English • Paper 1: Language Genres, Comprehension & Question B • Paper 2: Single Text, Poetry & Comparative Study Junior Cycle English • Writing skills, reading comprehension & literary analysis covered in full Geography – Junior & Leaving Cert (Higher & Ordinary Level) • Exam-focused preparation and targeted feedback • Detailed mock paper analysis to identify exactly where marks were lost • Practical strategies to avoid common mistakes and improve exam technique Whether you need support with unseen poetry, comparative study, or tricky mapwork, each lesson is tailored to your needs, helping you build confidence and results. My approach to grinds is to allow the student to not only grasp the topic or subject they are struggling with but to learn to love it. I supply topic or subject packs. I also give exercises, I give hour long classes explaining in depth the information necessary to pass exams as well as techniques for using that information in the most efficient way.
I employ interactive exercises as part of my tutoring technique. My aim is to show the student that we are equals and that I am here to help them on their journey. I firmly believe that all students have the ability to excel when supplied with the correct support, patience and guidance.
I offer one to one online classes Monday and Tuesday evenings after 4:30pm. Classes are an hour long.
