About Ivy
I am an experienced guitar tutor with a Degree qualification and a passion for helping students achieve their musical goals. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners of different ages and abilities, supporting their growth through patient instruction and personalized lesson planning.
My teaching approach combines structure, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my methods to suit individual learning styles and aspirations. This helps create a positive learning experience that keeps students motivated and excited about their progress.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy performing, composing music, and exploring various musical genres. These experiences allow me to bring fresh perspectives into my lessons and help students develop not only technical proficiency but also a deeper appreciation for music and artistic expression.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical abilities while enjoying the process of making music. Lessons cover essential skills such as chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, rhythm, music theory, and song performance, creating a well-rounded musical foundation.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's skill level, musical interests, and learning objectives. Whether students are beginners learning their first chords or advanced players refining their technique, I provide structured guidance that supports continuous improvement and builds confidence with every session.
I create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore their creativity. Through practical exercises, song-based learning, and constructive feedback, learners develop consistency, musical expression, and the skills needed to perform confidently in various musical settings.
