About Fiona
With over 12 years of experience teaching guitar to college students, I focus on helping students unlock their full vocal potential. My teaching style is centered on creativity, communication, and personalized instruction. I use innovative techniques that combine vocal exercises, music theory, and performance skills to build strong, confident guitarists. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice, improving their technique, and developing a true passion for music.

My teaching methodology for guitar is based on creativity, communication, empathy, and integrity, aiming to nurture both the technical and emotional aspects of music. I focus on building each student’s unique vocal strengths, encouraging exploration and creativity while emphasizing the importance of vocal health and technique. Communication is at the core of my teaching—ensuring that students feel heard and understood, while also creating an open space for feedback and improvement. Through empathy, I recognize the individual learning pace and challenges of each student, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and goals. I integrate a variety of musical styles, techniques, and theory to provide a well-rounded education in guitar, while fostering a sense of confidence and passion for music. In addition to guitar, I also offer instruction in related subjects such as choir, music theory, and performance skills, ensuring a comprehensive approach to musical education.
