About Hilda
I am a dedicated full-time online tutor with extensive experience in teaching English as a Second Language to both adults and children. My primary expertise lies in helping struggling children improve their understanding and retention of nouns, verbs, and adjectives. Over the course of my career, I have developed effective teaching strategies that make learning engaging and accessible, ensuring that students not only grasp the basics but also enjoy the process of language acquisition. In my classes, I focus on creating a fun and engaging learning environment where students enjoy learning nouns, verbs, and adjectives through interactive games and activities. Additionally, I integrate elements from their daily lives to make meaningful connections to the parts of speech they are learning. I understand that language learning can be challenging, especially for struggling students, so as a supportive tutor, I provide gentle corrections and positive encouragement to foster confidence and create a comfortable space for students to learn and ask questions without fear of making mistakes. My approach aims to make language learning enjoyable while equipping students with the skills and enthusiasm to use English confidently in real-life situations.
