About Liza
I started rhythmic gymnastics at a young age and completed 13 years. I achieved my Master's of Sport in 2021, which, in other words, is level 10 elite. I was a two-year national team gymnast before retiring. Now I coach kids ages 7 to 15 and also give private lessons for stretching and strengthening to gymnasts and figure skaters for the past five years. This sport holds a special spot in my heart, and I love to share my knowledge with whoever is interested in improving and learning something new.

My Teaching Method and Techniques: I focus on creating a balance between flexibility, strength, and artistry. Every student is different, so I adapt my coaching to their level—whether they are beginners just learning body positions, or advanced gymnasts refining routines. I break skills down into simple, progressive steps, using my background in stretching and strengthening to build safe foundations before moving into more complex elements. A Typical Lesson Plan: - Gentle warm-up to prepare the body and prevent injury - Flexibility and conditioning exercises (active stretching + strength work to support safe progress) - Technique breakdown of specific skills (leaps, balances, pivots, apparatus work, etc.) - Drills and repetition with feedback for improvement - Short cool-down and reflection on progress + goals for next time What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor/Coach: What makes me unique is my ability to combine technical precision with supportive guidance. As both a coach and former athlete, I understand the discipline required in rhythmic gymnastics, but I also believe motivation and confidence are key. My students not only improve their technique, but also learn how to train safely, stay motivated, and enjoy the creative side of the sport. Who My Lessons Are For: I offer lessons for all levels—from beginners who want to explore rhythmic gymnastics and build strength/flexibility, to competitive gymnasts who want to refine their skills and routines. I also welcome students looking to improve posture, coordination, and overall body awareness through rhythmic gymnastics training.
