About Zia
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of skilled and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis. I specialize in delivering personalized lessons that meet each student’s unique voice and goals. Whether you are a school student, college learner, or an adult professional, I design lessons that are both structured and flexible. My teaching covers a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, movie, and folk singing. I also guide students through ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to strengthen their overall musicianship. For the **Advanced Teen**, the methodology centers on refining pitch control, extending vocal range, and learning to adapt songs across genres. They’ll practice advanced scales, arpeggios, and genre-based phrasing to gain vocal flexibility. Confidence grows through solo performance assignments, where they record themselves using DAWs like GarageBand or Ableton and analyze tone, pitch, and dynamics. Short, focused sessions with vocal apps help them track progress in intonation and stamina.
For the **Quartet Player**, the focus shifts to blending and balance. They’ll train in harmonization, timing, and emotional synergy, using metronomes and DAWs to ensure tight ensemble precision. Rehearsals emphasize listening skills and adjusting pitch to complement others. Song adaptability comes through exploring multiple styles—classical, jazz, pop—while practicing emotional expression in different contexts. Confidence is developed through collaborative performances, where each singer rotates between leading and supporting.
