About Joshua
Fluency arrives when you stop translating and start feeling the rhythm of the language. Honestly, I find that most learners struggle because they ignore the physical placement of sounds within the mouth. By layering reading comprehension and listening practice into every session, we build a scaffold for your progress. I incorporate my Conservatoire training to demonstrate how pronunciation and violin phrasing share a common foundation in sustained breath and intent.
Whether we focus on common idioms or nasal vowels, the atmosphere remains calm and detail-oriented. My 13 years of experience inform a strategy that prioritizes authentic expression over rote memorization. We can certainly find a productive path that respects your personal pace and interests.

My 13 years of experience are rooted in a Conservatoire de musique du Québec background alongside my BMus from McGill. Working with hobbyists and professionals allows me to bridge the gap between complex phonetics and daily conversational flow.
