About Fateyma
I am a dedicated English Language (EL) tutor focused on helping students build strong foundations in writing, comprehension, and oral communication. My goal is to make English feel structured, manageable, and exam-focused, so students gain both confidence and clarity in how to approach different question types.
My teaching style is highly structured and adaptable. For composition writing, I guide students to develop their preferred writing style—whether argumentative essay or personal recount/narrative—while ensuring they understand how to plan, organize, and develop ideas effectively. I place strong emphasis on clarity, relevance, and expression so students can write with purpose and impact.
For Paper 2, I teach practical answering techniques that help students break down questions and respond effectively. I train them to identify keywords and use structured answering methods such as ARE (Answer, Reason, Elaboration), so their responses are complete, focused, and easy to score marks.
For oral communication, I coach students in both reading aloud and conversation components. I focus on fluency, pronunciation, expression, and confidence. Students are also taught how to structure their responses so they can speak naturally while staying relevant and clear.
Each lesson is typically 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s needs and focus areas.
I have experience supporting learners in structured academic environments and mentoring students in improving their English skills. I am skilled at simplifying complex concepts and helping students understand exactly what is required in exams.
