A classroom conversation often begins with a student trying to order a simple coffee in a foreign city. Working with adults and advanced learners, I see how quickly they grasp complex idioms when given the right structure.
My 17 years of experience have taught me that language is about more than just vocabulary, it is about cultural navigation. Having lived in Colombia, Canada, and France, I understand the unique challenges of the trilingual experience. I have taught 170 students who each brought their own distinct perspective to our time together.
