About Annissa
Working professionals, students, and adult learners make up my regular classroom circle. I have spent 11 years helping newcomers and residents find their footing in Canada through music and language. My BM in Vocal Performance and TEFL from UBC informs how I listen to the nuances of your speech. Dealing with diverse backgrounds, I ensure my methods remain neurodivergent-affirming at all times.
It is helpful to know that I prioritize patience over speed when we discuss your goals. These lessons aim to be a space where you feel comfortable articulating your thoughts clearly. I try to make sure our time together feels like a genuine conversation rather than a rigid lecture.
