About Kathi
Growing up in Guadalajara instilled a deep connection to the language that I eventually formalized through an MA Spanish. Have you ever wondered if your current study method actually reflects how people communicate in real life? With 13 years of experience I specialize in supporting heritage learners as they bridge the gap between conversational fluency at home and academic language accuracy.
I combine writing skills and listening practice with a focus on idioms and expressions to sharpen your conversational fluency. Cultural context often separates textbook learners from true speakers, so we investigate Latin American versus Castilian variants to build your confidence.
