About Cecilia
University applicants and design students often search for guidance that bridges the gap between academic theory and the practical reality of London practice. You will find that my Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Cardiff University and my MArch provide the bedrock for the technical insights I share.
Having spent 13 years in the industry, I now channel this knowledge into helping you navigate the complexities of floor planning and spatial planning. My 8 years of experience as a tutor have helped countless beginners and hobbyists find their unique voice in the built environment. I focus on teaching sustainable design, 3D modelling, and the tactile art of model making. By integrating building materials and hand sketching into our work, we develop the visual clarity required for professional architectural production.
Portfolio development remains a central pillar of my teaching because it represents the most critical step in your academic trajectory. Soon, your work will demonstrate the technical precision and conceptual depth needed to succeed in your chosen field.

Observing your initial drafts allows me to provide immediate feedback that refines your spatial logic before we commit to heavy rendering. Imagine we are sitting together as you sketch a floor plan, and we pause to test the circulation flow against actual building materials. This diagnostic portfolio assessment serves as our starting point to identify exactly where your design methodology requires extra support. My approach utilises Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to ensure your technical skills match your creative vision.
Whether you are a student or a hobbyist, we establish a deliberate pace that prioritises deep understanding over rapid completion. Your progress remains the singular focus of our time together.
