About Naya
I am a passionate singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a **Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice**. I specialize in delivering personalized lessons to students of all levels, from school and college learners to adults and professional singers. My teaching covers a wide range of styles, including **classical, pop, movie, and folk singing**, tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on developing **ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory**, helping students understand music as a complete language. Building **vocal confidence** is a core part of my lessons, ensuring every singer feels comfortable expressing themselves. I emphasize **safe vocal techniques**, fostering long-term vocal health while encouraging exploration and growth. Each lesson is **interactive and supportive**, designed to nurture each student’s unique voice and personality. I adapt exercises and repertoire to suit individual strengths, challenges, and musical interests. My approach balances discipline with creativity, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I believe every student has a voice worth celebrating, and I strive to help it shine. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills, I provide a positive, inspiring environment. My singing approach is designed to help students prepare for auditions and build a strong vocal portfolio. For **Music Major** students, I focus on developing vocal precision, control, and stylistic versatility. **Suzuki Students** benefit from structured exercises that strengthen pitch accuracy, phrasing, and expressive tone.
I guide students in **song selection**, choosing pieces that highlight their strengths while addressing growth areas. Matching **vocal tone** to different styles ensures performances feel authentic and compelling. Controlled **dynamics** are emphasized to convey emotion and enhance musicality.
Both personas work on **vocal agility exercises** to increase flexibility and range. I conduct **mock auditions** to simulate real performance conditions, building confidence and stage presence. Exploring **genre diversity**—from classical and jazz to contemporary—helps students adapt to various audition requirements.
Practical tools like **backing track apps, lyric trainers, and pitch analyzers** are integrated to support home practice. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, focusing on measurable progress and artistic growth. My goal is to develop versatile, confident singers who can excel in any audition or performance setting.
