About Tanya
Over the last 10 years I have discovered that allowing the overlap of all of my experiences within disciplines including, art, fashion, film, interior design and architecture, has led to the creation of exciting new ideas and approaches.
I would like to share this methodology with as many people as I can to allow you to reach your full potential within your design capabilities.
Alumni of Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London, since then working with companies like Soho House and Candy London in the world of interiors and architecture, to Mulberry and Craig Green within the fashion space... later starting my own ethical fashion house, whilst also completing a solo exhibition at Lot Projects and having work shown at the Victoria & Albert Museum as well as La Biennale di Venezia.
My experience in the creative industry is expansive! I love to learn and love to teach, I find the exchanging of knowledge in alternative capacities to be highly invigorating.

My teaching method starts with a full emersion into the art and design world. We will dissect design references of interest from moments in history to the present day which will help to create and shape ideas for the future.
Prototyping, testing and experimenting are the teaching methods I like to use with activities to enhance creative thinking whilst maximising new possibilities.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my diverse range of experiences across a multitude of different disciplines. I have design capability from the largest of structures to the smallest details. I understand natural pigments and materials through hand-dyeing fabric with plants and fruit to create garments, homeware, sculptures and spaces.
The lessons will be for college level / pre university students who need help with their portfolios to secure a place at a renowned art school or university. I also offer tutoring for university students who are working towards final project submissions and portfolios for the end of the year.
