About Rong
I am a native Mandarin Chinese tutor offering one-on-one online Chinese lessons focused on listening and speaking, clear pronunciation, accent reduction, and confident real-world communication. And more importantly, your identity will become a real Chinese speaker during our conversations that will be tailored for you!
My teaching method combines language coaching, structured listening and speaking practice, targeted pronunciation correction, and customized vocabulary and Chinese character instruction.
My unique way of teaching allows each lesson to be tailored to the student’s level and goals, whether improving everyday conversational Chinese or developing professional and business Chinese skills.
What sets me apart is my extensive experience as a long-term simultaneous interpreter at international conferences, which brings interpreter-level precision, register control, and cross-cultural awareness into my teaching.
Born and raised in Beijing, China, I speak standard Mandarin with a neutral accent and have native-level English proficiency, allowing me to coach learners from diverse language backgrounds effectively.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners of all ages, including students and working professionals who want to improve spoken Chinese, listening comprehension, and natural expression in both life and business contexts.
