I am 40 years of age and have 16 years teaching experience at both primary and secondary level. I am a fully qualified Mathematics Teacher, having a PGCE in Mathematics and I also work for an exam board as an examiner for GCSE Mathematics, which gives me a real insight into what exam skills are needed and a deep knowledge of the curriculum.
As well as teaching GCSE Maths, I have experience of teaching KS3 and GCSE History. In addition to this, I have a CELTA (A-grade) and have taught ESOL, TESOL and IELTS to students from high-school age to adults.
I lived in Japan for nine years and having passed the JLPT level 2, I have taught Japanese to non-native speakers.
I enjoy teaching and have a considerate and understanding approach, whilst ensuring learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation.
