About Om
I’m a high school student with a strong academic background. I’ve been accepted into UNSW for a BCom and BSc in Computer Science, starting in 2026. Beyond academics, I’m actively involved in leadership as a student representative on the board and have a strong interest in finance, trading, and politics. I also have experience in stage tech and enjoy problem-solving, whether in math, markets, or real-world challenges. My goal is to push boundaries, learn continuously, and make an impact in everything I do.

I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, focusing on problem-solving techniques, pattern recognition, and conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. For math, I break down problems step by step, guiding students through worked examples before encouraging independent practice with targeted feedback. I also use active recall and real-world applications to reinforce learning.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes, balancing concept explanations, guided practice, and review.
I passed NCEA Level 2 and 3 a year early, achieved all excellences in Level 3 Calculus, and have experience in peer tutoring.
I tutor NCEA Level 1–3 Math students, whether aiming for excellence, needing conceptual clarity, or preparing for exams.
