About Arin
Put simply, I love to teach. The feeling when you coach someone through a process that they maybe thought was too hard, only to hear 'that wasn't too bad.' Sometimes, academic stress can be a problem, and the way I see it I'm not just a tutor, but a friend. Anyone can go and start teaching math or English, basic principles are almost universally known. However, this does not make a good tutor. A good tutor is someone who doesn't just teach, but mentors. Finds solutions, alternate ways to solve a problem if a student is struggling. Someone who works according to their students' strengths, not their own. Exams are incredibly important for future careers etc, and I aspire for improvement for all my students, however I promise to do more than just that. If they want to do something new or just talk about school in general, I will be helpful. I'm here for your benefit.

I firmly believe that students don't respond well if they don't want to do something. If a student doesn't want to do math, forcing them will not help, as no effort will be put in, and general enjoyment will be hampered. I believe in making things enjoyable and still maintaining standards. I personally volunteer at underprivileged schools in India and have been doing this for several years in my summer break, essentially taking over two classrooms as a full-time teacher. These experiences have been incredibly useful for me in understanding how to best teach, and I am proud to say that by the end of two terms, kids that maybe even hated math loved it. Additionally, I founded a program at the school that gave special help to kids with ADHD and dyslexia and found that work particularly rewarding. I am open to teach any students from around grade 8 and under. One lesson would typically be an hour, and we may have to work things around as of course as a senior student myself, might not be able to make every time. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Arin often tutors me in Grade 10 academics, including Engineering, Math, and coding. I highly recommend him because he is a very nice and nurturing peer who helps and supports his students under any situation and circumstance. He is a truly wonderful person, and I'm sure anyone would love to be one of his students, just as I am today. Because of his superb tutoring, I have regained my confidence in many of my math-related subjects. This is why I highly recommend him to teach kids; he has a truly kind and upbeat personality.
Arin was my English and math tutor. He helped me from a C- to a B- in a span of a term. I am currently on track to get an A in maths and English. He is a very good tutor. He is also smart. He is also fluent in Mandarin and has helped me with other subjects because he is an all-rounder. He has majorly improved me skills and helped my essay writing competition. He is also very smart in Electronics and holistic skills. Overall, he is a good tutor and I recommend him.
Working with Arin has been a highlight of my studies in economics and music. We first connected while I was preparing for high-level piano certifications, and Arin’s unique ability to bridge the gap between technical discipline and creative expression made a massive difference in my progress.
What I appreciate most about Arin’s teaching method is the incredible adaptability. Whether we are deconstructing a complex macroeconomics model or learning about quadratic equations, Arin has a way of breaking down intimidating concepts into manageable, logical steps. The lessons feel less like a lecture and more like a collaborative problem-solving session, which keeps me engaged and motivated.
A standout experience we shared was during a particularly gruelling week where I was balancing a web development project with an analysis of Australian household wealth. I was feeling overwhelmed by the data, but Arin helped me apply a "systems-thinking" approach that worked for both my code logic and my economic theory. That "aha!" moment—seeing how different fields of study overlap—completely changed how I approach my education.
I highly recommend Arin to any student looking for a tutor who is not only an expert in their field but also genuinely invested in how their students think and grow!Arin has amazing work ethic and is very knowledgeable! My son Daniel has improved his grades in multiple areas and is doing much better academically. The cost is also reasonable, and he is a great option if you need a tutor.
Arin is one of the brightest students at my school. He is the top 5% of the grade in all classes and is genuinely a really capable teacher. He takes his time teaching the content, is stern while somewhat gentle and makes sure you understand what you need to before moving on. When I need help in my subjects, I can rely on Arin to make sure I’m on the right track and doing well in my studies :)
It can be said that Arin is a top-tier tutor, specialising in areas such as mathematics, science, and engineering. He has displayed incredible skill while being my tutor as well as making explanations sound easy.
