I go over the notes provided for the materials and break down each point into sub-points to make it simple and easy.
I ensure that the student understands the topic before moving on, and then ask follow up questions to ensure memory retention.
Usually also do practice tests.
A typical lesson depends on the level we start on, I need to see how strong your base is before we start a topic, to make sure you understand what is being taught. If the base is weak then I start building the base first before we approach the topic. If the base is already good, a typical lesson takes up about 1 hour.
I have taught peers my age (14,15,16,17) and have helped them strive for excellence.
