About Shaurya
I’m Shaurya, a Year 11 student with a passion for maths and gold awards in maths challenges. I offer online tutoring for Years 3-8, focusing on building confidence and improving skills.
My lessons are personalised to meet each student's needs, whether for homework help, exam prep, or strengthening fundamentals. I believe anyone can be good at maths with the right guidance and practice.

My Approach to Tutoring:
As a Year 11 student with a passion for maths, I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment for my students. I believe that maths doesn't have to be intimidating – with the right approach, anyone can excel!
Teaching Methodology:
Personalised Learning: I tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs and learning style of my students. Whether you need help with understanding specific concepts, preparing for tests, or just building confidence, I’ll adjust the lessons accordingly.
Clear Explanations: I break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, helping students grasp difficult topics in a way that makes sense to them.
Building Confidence: I aim to boost self-confidence by helping students see their progress and celebrate small wins along the way.
Typical Lesson Length:
My lessons typically last 1 hour, but I can adjust the duration based on your needs.
Experience:
As a Year 11 student, I am currently studying the same topics your child will encounter in school and have recent experience with the curriculum.
I’ve helped friends and younger students with maths, and have developed a strong understanding of how to communicate complex ideas clearly.
I have consistently achieved Gold in multiple maths challenges and am predicted a 9 for GCSE.
