About Maxime
I am a maths enthusiast, and have spent the past two years doing as much maths as possible. I self-taught A-Level Further Maths, and have helped my friends many times with troubles they had in maths lessons. For my computer science A-Level coursework, I researched the mathematics behind fluid simulations and coded my own. In preparation for my Oxford application, I did every MAT past paper; I also successfully passed three Oxford mathematics interviews during the second stage of the application process. I studied the Edexcel further maths spec, with Further Stats 1 and Further Mechanics 1 as my optional modules, but can help with any other specification too. I have done a little tutoring to help a friend improve their chess, and volunteered at a local tutoring centre, assisting students in GCSE revision classes.

Flexible approach to teaching, flexible lesson length- can include explanation of content, interactive demonstration of examples, going through problems, etc. Lessons will be online via Zoom, or in person around Birmingham. Aimed at 6th Form or advanced GCSE students. Some prior experience teaching friends. I love maths, and I have an offer to study mathematics at Oxford, and am very happy to help students looking to prepare a university application- including MAT advice and interview preparation.
