About Tanvi
I am a Year 11 student who attends an academically selective high school. I have assisted students from primary school to Year 9 and am part of the mentoring program at my school.
I have also volunteered in various industries and participated in national subject-related competitions.
Being a student myself, I have access to current resources and understand that every student has their own way of learning.

1. Start with a test to assess where the student is at and what we need to work on
2. Check whether the student's base knowledge of the concept is strong (if not, building the base knowledge is the first step)
3. Delve into more nuanced problems, word problems (if applicable), different situations where the concept could be used but isn't explicitly stated
4. Regular tests to check what the student has understood and what we still need to work through
5. Checking over any assessments/exams (if applicable) that the student has done to see where they have struggled, find the root cause and fix it
Teaching will include examples that have already been done, as well as examples that we will work through together before the student does a couple by themself to see whether they have understood the concept
