About James
I am a 26-year-old Physics & Mathematics graduate with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) from the University of St Andrews, with experience in tuition dating back to 2012.
I have always enjoyed helping others learn. It is a pleasure to share my passion for maths and physics and tuition has always been a deeply rewarding experience for me.
I am capable of tutoring at all SQA and A-levels, as well as other courses upon request. Teaching is available in-person and remotely via Skype. At school I was able to achieve 3 A*s (band 1) at Advanced Higher in Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanics. I did this by forming a solid basis of the fundamental concepts, developing my exam technique abilities, and optimising my study habits.
Being not long out of education myself, these skills are still fresh in my mind, and I am very enthusiastic to pass on my knowledge on tips on how to achieve the best grades possible.
Currently I tutor via Zoom and have a setup of a specialised tablet which can be used interactively to mark and annotate work, diagrams etc,
