I’m a Violin tutor with over 6 years of experience and a background in music performance. I specialise in helping students explore the practical application of violin playing in orchestral, solo, and contemporary music settings. My lessons focus on connecting technique to real musical expression and performance. We work on posture, bowing technique, finger placement, intonation, and tone production, making complex skills approachable and manageable. I guide students through scales, études, and repertoire, helping them build control, accuracy, and musicality step by step. Musical interpretation is a key part of my teaching, helping learners bring emotion and character into every piece they play. I also introduce practice strategies to improve consistency, speed up progress, and build confidence in performance situations. My goal is to show how the violin becomes a powerful voice for expression and creativity. I use real pieces from classical and modern repertoire to make abstract technique feel meaningful and musical. Each session is tailored to the student’s level, ensuring steady progress and clear understanding. I’m passionate about building discipline, confidence, and artistic expression.
