About John
As a current employee at high school of which I have been working at for the past 5 years, I am very familiar with common challenges faced by high school students in biology. Additionally, I pride myself on patiently working through any and all issues or misconceptions of my students and truly love sharing my knowledge of biology and guiding my students to reaching their full potential. My fundamental approach involves high expectations for all of my students accompanied with positive reinforcement.

While I have a strong background in cellular biology and biochemistry as well as numerous resources ready to implement, my primary focus is always to identify specific needs of students and cater tutoring sessions around their personal needs. My AP biology students consistently score well above both state and national averages and I have 6 years of experience teaching 9th - 12th grades.
