My students consistently achieve 1-2 grades above their predicted grade at A level and 1-3 grades above predicted at GCSE.
I have previously worked in schools as an academic mentor to students aged 15-18 and understand the skill set required to attain high marks in history exams.

I am a history graduate who offers tuition to A level and GCSE history students of all abilities. My lessons are structured around two core aims. Firstly, developing a strong and comprehensive understanding of the key ideas which feature in the syllabus through discussion and individual reading.
Secondly, developing essay writing skills to be able to effectively use historical knowledge and analysis in exam style questions.
My tuition style is catered specifically to the needs of the individual student. I plan my lessons in tandem to the lessons that the student is undergoing at school/college. The aim is not to overload the student with knowledge, but to develop a confidence and understanding in their own school work as they progress through the syllabus.
