About Martha
I have been writing professionally for 30 years and love literature, which is a passion.
I especially am an expert in writing funding proposals and business documents, including marketing and public education materials. I am also fluent in Spanish and so can bridge gaps easily between Spanish and English.

Especially as a tutor, I am student-focused, working from where they are at towards their goals. In terms of writing, I am focused heavily on rhetoric and writing genre. In terms of tutoring English Language Learners, I am less focused on the details of grammar than on working on practical language skills to help them become fluent. A typical lesson plan would include practice on a specific skill set in both cases until they master it, through multiple iterations.
