About Kathy
I provide professional, respectful, and structured tutoring for adult learners who want to strengthen their reading, writing, literature, academic English, or communication skills. My approach is clear, patient, and practical. I begin by identifying each student’s goals and current needs, then design focused lessons that build skill and confidence one step at a time.
Students can expect prepared lessons, honest feedback, confidentiality, encouragement, and strategies they can use independently. My goal is to help adult learners feel respected, capable, and confident as readers, writers, students, and professionals.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and strengths-based. I support middle school, high school, college, adult, and English language learners in literature, writing, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, college essays, creative writing, and academic communication. My goal is to help students gain skill, confidence, independence, and a stronger sense of themselves as capable learners.
