About Michael
I'm 35, living usually in London. My Grandfather was a headmaster, and I've inherited his love of teaching. I believe that, combined with an obsession for film and for writing scripts, makes me a perfect tutor for this subject. I've experienced success in this industry that's allowed me to work alongside, and learn from, some of the most talented people in film and TV. I know where the pitfalls are. I know how to avoid them. I promise to make writing fun (because it should be!), and to do everything I can to help bring your work to fruition.

I think every creative person needs to find their own way to work, therefore my approach would revolve around what makes you excited to create, whilst offering the technical and structural advice needed to develop a script to professional standards. My lessons can vary from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on what you require. I have a BA Hons degree in Creative Writing and Drama, a diploma in professional acting from The Oxford School of Drama, and as a writer I have worked with companies such as Sky Cinema and The BFI, and written alongside some of the biggest actors, directors, and producers in the world. I'm best catering for those having left school or higher education, who are ready to approach screenwriting as a professional pursuit.
