About Zuriel
I am an analytical and driven, life learner. I love reflection and introspection. I thrive in pressure situations via intuition and understanding the fundamental concepts in challenges I face. I have several aspirations, which I fulfil via my independent creative projects. I am currently focused on centralising my mediums/media onto a suitable platform. Since age 9 I have enjoyed gaining a wider understanding through independent research, this has given me the enthusiasm to explore multiple facets of philosophical thinking and contrasting worldviews. Writing, creative and sporting hobbies have been a therapeutic endeavour of mine for a decade. In the past, I have sporadically shared my work on my social media and performances. Shortly after I contributed to online magazine SkoolGirl Online for several years. I take a great interest in sport, in particular, the notions of Legend and Greatness, Performance, Dedication and Sacrifice. I have taken many principles of graft, teamwork, dedication, accountability and reliability from Football, NBA, Tennis, NFL, Athletics etc. Competing has allowed me to put many of these virtues into practice and deal with adversity and failure. An academic ambition of mine is to Lecture Philosophy abroad and attain the position of Dean. Whilst pursuing this goal, I have sought financial independence with various roles in the Hospitality and Education industry since leaving Great Barr Secondary School. I have also satiated my philanthropic compulsion with Bringing Hope by being involved in the tremendous work in the community. I am currently concerned with finding exhilarating opportunities to not only engage my transferable skills but to substantially develop them in a stable environment which provokes growth. In my current research, I am prioritising refining my ability to critically link interdisciplinary topics of interest for better clarity and articulation.
