I’m happy to offer you my recommendation of Shirley whom I've personally known for two years as my art & sewing teacher.
Shirley teaches me art and sewing lessons that foster my own creativity and originality. She accomplishes this by first demonstrating the skill while incorporating the use of engaging visual aids such as examples, the actual finished craft, printed reference material and posters with pictures to help facilitate retention and recall. She then asks me to demonstrate mastery of the skill. Throughout the process, she provides positive verbal feedback to keep me motivated. Her patience and knowledge helps build my confidence while learning a new craft.
