About Camila
Picture yourself staring at a complex reaction mechanism that suddenly clicks into place after a single guided explanation. My lessons translate my ANU biomed training into practical steps that make inorganic chemistry and stoichiometry feel straightforward.
During these 3 years of teaching, I have observed that most students struggle because they lack a solid grasp of lab and practical work fundamentals. I prioritize conceptual learning by linking abstract formulas to tangible chemical behavior. You will find that our time together prioritizes accuracy over volume. My approach creates a space where conceptual barriers are identified and systematically dismantled.

Chemistry is a language of logic that requires a systematic approach to master. I have taught 32 students who range from young kids to working professionals seeking exam prep. My degree includes a BSc in Biomed and Advanced Maths from ANU, which underpins my deep understanding of physical chemistry and stoichiometry.
Having navigated the challenges of a science degree myself, I bring 3 years of experience to every interaction. We will cover everything from equation balancing to complex thermochemistry.
Inorganic chemistry and acid base reactions become manageable when stripped of unnecessary jargon. My teaching style is direct, keeping concepts clear and avoiding fluff. Feel free to reach out if you want to start.
