About Marty
I graduated with a BFA from The Victorian College of the Arts in 2017 where I was trained in Script Analysis, Shakespeare, Acting the Song, Acting for Screen, Voice, Laban and Chekhov. I also undertook a summer program at The Atlantic Acting school in New York developing skills in Practical Aesthetics.
I coach fellow actors for self tapes and have mentored students undertaking VCE Drama and Theatre Studies with exceptional results. I have also coached those who are looking to audition for tertiary institutions.
As an actor I have worked in the industry both in Melbourne and Sydney including the Hayes Theatre Company, where I was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award and Helpmann Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2019.

I use my training in diverse acting processes to tailor my approach to the material. Every story is different therefore every process will be different. Fundamentally we always start from text.
We'll ask what the material needs then apply a process that inspires your connection to the work. My aim is to converge technique with your own creativity. It is supposed to be fun!
