About Teboho
I am a Mining Engineering graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University) with a strong passion for mathematics, problem-solving and education. I have worked as a university lecturer, where I assisted students in understanding engineering and mathematical concepts while helping them build confidence in their academic abilities.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mining Engineering, with research focused on statistical analysis and engineering applications. This has further strengthened my analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning and ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and practical way.
I enjoy helping students realise that mathematics is not about memorising formulae—it is about understanding patterns, logic and problem-solving. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where every student gains both confidence and the skills needed to achieve excellent academic results

My lessons are designed to help students understand mathematics rather than simply memorise formulae. As a Mining Engineering graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and a former university lecturer/teaching assistant, I have extensive experience explaining complex concepts in a simple and logical way.
Every lesson begins by identifying the student's strengths and areas that need improvement. I then explain concepts step by step using clear examples before working through practice questions together. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson because I believe confidence comes from understanding the reasoning behind every solution.
I teach Mathematics, Algebra and Trigonometry to high school students, first-year university students and anyone looking to strengthen their mathematical foundation. Lessons are conducted online in English using interactive problem-solving and exam-style questions to prepare students for tests and examinations.
My goal is not only to help students improve their marks, but also to develop the analytical and critical thinking skills that engineering and mathematics require. By the end of each lesson, students should feel more confident, capable and prepared to solve mathematical problems independently.
