About Carli
My name is Carli and I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. I began my musical journey 16 years ago when I started piano lessons in second grade. From there, I picked up saxophone and music quickly became my sole passion. I was a huge "band nerd" throughout school and I absolutely loved it.
I've played a wide variety of instruments, but my main areas of knowledge are woodwinds, piano, composition, and music theory. Now, I teach music lessons and perform shows in a jazz group based out of Orange County. Anything music-related is my favorite way to spend my time, so I'd love to share that with other musicians!

As a kid, I had several different teachers and instructors, many of whom made me feel I was bad at music. One-on-one lessons can often be stressful or uncomfortable for first-time students, so it's a priority of mine that the environment is fun and encouraging. Each lesson is tailored to the musician. What we learn is centered around your interests and what you want to play or improve on. You can learn everything from classical music to music theory to chords from your favorite song!
