About Tess
I bring over 6 years of experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry to my work as a tutor. My approach to chemistry is interdisciplinary, connecting theory, computation, and forensic science. Lessons explore the chemistry of toxic substances, drugs, and environmental traces. I incorporate simulated case files to bring investigative chemistry to life. Students learn to interpret chemical data as if working in a forensic lab. We also explore the analytical tools behind this process—chromatography, spectroscopy, and modeling. My teaching emphasizes both accuracy and ethical awareness in handling evidence.
